Aerial Photography

Drones offer the opportunity to capture angles and views of a business, event, location or property not ordinarily available from a ground-based camera.

Aerial photography or video projects are billed by the hour ($125/hour) and will include time allowances for image processing and travel in excess of 30 minutes each way. We will provide a detailed quote in advance.

Aircraft

For most projects, we use a DJI Mavic 2 Pro with a Hasselblad camera. Made in Sweden, Hasselblad cameras are renowned for their iconic ergonomic design, uncompromising image quality, and Swedish craftsmanship. Since 1941, Hasselblad cameras have captured some of the world’s most iconic images – including the first moon landing.

The Mavic 2 Pro supports a 10-bit Dlog-M color profile that yields higher dynamic range for more flexibility in the grading room. The system records over 1 billion colors (compared to the 16 million colors from traditional 8-bit color coding technologies) and retains more in-depth details in both highlights and shadows.

Why are we different from the competition?

Jeff O’Kelley Photography is based in Palm Harbor, Florida. We are NOT a big, nationwide entity. HIRE LOCALLY.
Jeff is a FAA-licensed (Part 107) sUAS (Certificate #4138540) Remote Pilot, as required by federal law for all commercial drone operations. Hiring an unlicensed pilot for your project could result in fines and/or other liability issues for you. Check the status of anyone claiming to be a licensed pilot via the FAA website.
We can offer “Same Day” turnaround on orders within a limited geographic area*.
High-definition images will be provided via a password-protected online gallery for download at your convenience.
We consider this type of project a “Work for Hire”. This means that you, not Jeff O’Kelley Photography, own all rights to the images provided. We do reserve the right to display select images within in our portfolio for promotional purposes only. All private or descriptive information about the property will be removed prior to usage.

* Projects more than 10 miles from Palm Harbor may require more time to complete. The operation of drones is regulated by the FAA and state laws. These laws, as well as weather conditions, can sometimes delay image delivery. If this occurs, we will notify you as quickly as possible to set your expectation for delivery.
